This movie is about love, faith, and hope!! This has NOTHING to do with any hate! I do not support the horrible things that have gone on through history, but the point of this movie (this is a movie trailor) is about finding your purpose and helping the world. Please dont get caught up on the first 15 seconds of the trailor, its about the end of the trailor that made me love this movie.

Out of tragedy, comes hope. If that’s what you choose. We are all searching as humans for our purpose.. This movie is incredible, one of the best things I’ve ever stumbled across. Watch it, you’ll be so full after.

Spring flowers, bring on the showers.

With the first day of spring passing a few days ago, I am a happy camper. The warmer temperatures are already starting to roll in, and flowers are starting to blume, beside my allergies to pollen, spring and fall are by far my most favorite times of the year. Fall is wonderful for all the rustic colors, spring in fantastic for all the poppy, bright, brilliant, light colors that mother nature gives us.

10 things I’m excited for to do this spring..

1. Running
2. Bike rides
3. Cross fit wods outside
4. Outside dining at returants
5. Ice-cream evenings with friends.
6. Picnics
7. Pulling out my old tank tops, putting away the winter coats.
8. Wedge shoe shopping
9. Celebrating todds birthday
10. Coloring more clients blonde in preparation for summer.

What an awesome day it is in Virginia Beach today!! I had a good week, the salon was a little slower than I would have liked with families being away on spring break, but I am thankful for the down time also. My pastor delivered one of the strongest, amazing, life changing, life thinking, messages I believe I’ve ever heard, and for that I can’t thank him enough. (Adam Bradshaw, we are so blessed to also call you a friend) also, attended an art show this week, street photographer Ricky Powell “narrated” a slideshow of his photos. Interesting. Today, enjoying the weather and blogging and having lunch on my back porch, life is good.

Let’s get revived.

I am so ecstatic for this!!! Todd and I got tickets for this short tour! Their stop in New Orleans is where we will be meeting up with them. Mumford and sons has been a favorite of mine for a little while now, and after seeing their performance on the Grammys we started on a search to see them, a few months ago we heard “home” by Edward sharpe & the magnetic zeros, and fell in love (the goal is to one day, have them at our wedding)
So when Todd came across this tour last week we were pumped! Not to mention we have been meaning to plan a trip to New Orleans (I’ve never been), could this be any more perfect? I think not.
Of course, I’ve already started planning my wardrobe for the trip and looks. If you didn’t know, I’m obsessing over the flower child, hippie, bohemian look! Bring on the fringe feathers and braids!!!

Weeks treats.

I’m not sure if this week flew by or went by at a normal rate, however, its Friday, I’m happy, and I’m 4 days away from paradise!! February and march are hard to get through if you don’t plan a warm place in-between, the anticipation of spring is almost unbearable for me. With Virginia getting snow a few times this winter already, I feel like I’m a northerner. I’m excited for what the weekend holds, remember to smile and to love everyone the way you love god.
