Sorry for the delay.

My biggest struggle through life is this. Remembering God is in control. He has it. He loves me and he loves everyone so much more than I can ever imagine and ever understand. All we have to do is let him in and let his will be done. I want to always give the answers to everyone or try and show them the way, that’s not my job. My job is to be love. If I am love people will find God through just that.

Day 3 in NOLA

Leave it up to Todd to set our alarm to wake up, and as im rushig around to make it to our bike tour on time at 8:00 am, i realize.. Todd never changed his clock, its 7 am. So with time to spare we headed back to Mothers for yummy coffee and breakfast. Then, headed to our bike tour (we went through confederacy of cruisers. They have a few different options of ones to take, including the creole, ninth ward, culinary, and a beer one where they take you to some of the oldest and secret local spots. With the coolest tour guides). Really enjoyed getting the history of new orleans and seeing some spots we would have never known about. Definitly recommend doing one. After, we walked the french quarter some more and had pinkberry, my first time. Evening, hung out with some of the friends we made, went to dinner at another great reaturant called the nepolean house, great little courtyard to sit in, and walked down to frenchman st, where alot of the local musicians play and locals hang. Another greay day.

Day 2 in NOLA

Second day=more AMAZING than day one.
Up early and headed off to the famous Cafe Du Monde for cafe au laits and bignets. (we need to do some burpees after this trip). Shopped around the french quarter up and down the little alleys, looked at incredible art with loud colors. Explored the aquireum, rode the street cart, ate lunch at a locals secret spot called coffee pot, shopped some more found the best little store called Hemlin, found some great finds.
And then….. RAILROAD REVIVAL!! With old crow medicine show, edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros, and mumford & sons.

Today had more experiences that there are no words to explain. Love that these have been happening more and more.

Let’s get revived.

I am so ecstatic for this!!! Todd and I got tickets for this short tour! Their stop in New Orleans is where we will be meeting up with them. Mumford and sons has been a favorite of mine for a little while now, and after seeing their performance on the Grammys we started on a search to see them, a few months ago we heard “home” by Edward sharpe & the magnetic zeros, and fell in love (the goal is to one day, have them at our wedding)
So when Todd came across this tour last week we were pumped! Not to mention we have been meaning to plan a trip to New Orleans (I’ve never been), could this be any more perfect? I think not.
Of course, I’ve already started planning my wardrobe for the trip and looks. If you didn’t know, I’m obsessing over the flower child, hippie, bohemian look! Bring on the fringe feathers and braids!!!
