Happy 4th of July babes!!!
Today is one of my very favorite holidays, I love having the day off with my husband and spending the day on the beach with good friends with our toes in the sand. Tonight, I look forward to the amazing firework display on the oceanfront.

I had been seeing pictures of people in American flag denim shorts and started to search online for a pair when I thought, I think I could just paint an old pair I have.. So that’s what I did.

{materials needed. Paint. Large paint brush and smaller. Newspaper. Shorts. Star stencil.}

{I painted the white stripes first. I didn’t use anything to measure out the width but you could to be more precise}

{then I did the red ones}

{painted the blue base}

{used my stencil star and painted around it with the white and smaller paint brush}

{then removed the stencil and filled in the star. After I did the stars I went back with the blue and cleaned up my lines a bit.}

just remember when you count your blessings tonight you thank for the biggest one of all, being born in the greatest country of all where we are free because people fight for our freedom. WE ARE BLESSED.
