How true it is that salt can cure. A good cry can usually make me feel better and any beach day is a good day for me.
Over this last weekend I went out for my first cold water dive experience to the Chesapeake light tower and a ship wreak called the brass spike. I was mentally preparing for it all week. I’ve been told time and time again ‘that diving is not physical it’s 100% mental’
This is so true. It’s the best way to figure out your mental strength and when you’re getting to wrapped up in the things you can’t control. My experience was amazing even with mask squeeze. I was honesty proud of myself after.
All I have control over is how I choose to react to situations.. Not how many sharks are around, the water temp, the size of waves or the current. I can choose to enjoy every situation for what’s been given to me.
I wish you the same understanding.

I started shopping at Halleluabout a year ago and it quickly became my favorite one stop online shopping spot. Ive found some of my favorite pieces in my closet here at the most affordable prices. Catherine has a gift. And she is so amazing whenever I email asking anything she’s prompt with response and goes above and beyond.
I’m expecting this pretty lights top in the mail today for my engagement party.

Amazing the people who come and go out of your life, and the people who stay. Sometimes it’s a hard pill to swallow when your realize the friends who once were some of your best are now becoming strangers. But, in that same breath, it’s even more amazing the people you stumble upon that become your closest friends in a matter of minutes. All I know, is everyone is put into your life for a reason, and usually at the perfect time. Sometimes letting go of some to make room for new ones is just necessary.
God has placed amazing people in todds and mine. I am continually learning. That’s all I could hope for anyone.
So, let go and let god.

Can you believe august is here?! It’s always such a love/hate relationship for me, it signals the closing of summer coming of fall at the end but I celebrate my moms and my birthday with a fun mother daughter trip. This one will be even more special for me because one of those days we will spend trying on and looking for my perfect wedding dress.
I’m looking forward to…
A = A engagement party with our families coming together.
U = Using up all my brightly colored clothes and my new color block shoes from Hallelu in the anticipation of fall is coming. (I am required to wear black after labor day)
G = Going on bike rides to the beach and my fav, frozen yogurt.
U = Using our new picnic basket.

T = Turning 25.
